What We Believe

Telling you what we believe is a difficult proposition.  We certainly cannot list an exhaustive reply to each and every theological nuance.  Nor will we ignore doctrine and just “go with the flow.”  The purpose of this site is to inform you, to allow you to get to know us better.  So, in lieu of asking you to attend for a while to find out what we preach (which we hope you will do!), we can turn to some historical confessions that do a good job of summarizing the major themes of scripture.  These confessions serve as a framework of sorts to hang the truths upon, providing a definition of what we believe, and how we interpret the scriptures.  We invite you to review the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith below.  If you have any further questions related to what we believe, please contact us, and we would be happy to address you personally.

Please note that this confession of faith was written by men, thus is not without error.  The Scriptures are our final authority in all matters.  We see value in this document in personal training, discussions and giving people a summary of our doctrine.
